Alejandra Gutiérrez

Visiting postdoctoral scientist

Alejandra Gutiérrez completed a PhD in 2016 at the University Autónoma of Madrid and worked as a postdoctoral scientist at the Centro de Investigaciones Biológicas/CSIC (Madrid) from 2016 to 2018. She joined Carlos Ardavín lab in 2019 with a Juan de la Cierva fellowship and was awarded an AECC fellowship in 2021. Since January 2024 she holds an Assistant Professor position at the University Alfonso X El Sabio (Madrid) and continues her research activity in Carlos Ardavin’s lab as Visiting Scientist. She has a broad experience in in vivo models of tumor development and macrophage immunobiology, confocal microscopy, cell biology techniques and flow cytometry.
